The water spray absorption tower is added with a dedicated absorption liquid for scrubbers, which can effectively remove organic waste gases such as benzene, organic alcohols, aldehydes, ketones, and esters.
The polluted gas enters the spray tower from the left side. Through the spray of liquid mist, insoluble viscose particles and dust fall onto the water surface. Then, the filter filters out the moisture and suspended particles in the gas, eliminating odorous and harmful gases, so that the clean gas is discharged from the upper part. The insoluble viscose particles and dust flow into the collection tank; the suspended particles are discharged from the overflow port; and the collected sediments are discharged from the sewage outlet.
Chemical agents are added to this spray tower to fully react with organic waste gases, thereby better decomposing and removing odors from the waste gases.
The gas inside the water spray absorption tower is sent in by a fan and flows from bottom to top. The absorption liquid is pumped into the top of the tower by an acid-resistant pump and evenly sprayed downward through the liquid distribution device, forming countercurrent absorption. After the neutralized gas passes through the demisting device inside the tower, it is discharged into the atmosphere through the chimney.
Different absorption liquids are used for different acidic gases:
When a sodium hydroxide solution is used as the absorption and neutralization liquid with a concentration of 2-6%, the purification efficiency for hydrochloric acid mist can reach over 98%, for sulfuric acid mist over 97%, and for nitric acid mist over 90%.
When a sodium hypochlorite solution is used as the absorption and neutralization liquid, the purification efficiency for cyanide-containing waste gas reaches 95%.
The water spray absorption tower is not affected by seasonal changes (including summer climate variations), has an elegant appearance, is durable, and corrosion-resistant.
